We holiday several times a year as a family of four and this was one of our favourite holidays. The staff we met were professional, accommodating, warm and engaged (Jane, Tracy, Summer, Deanne). It’s obvious to see they take pride in their work and their hotel. The food was excellent and with children eating free for each paying adult, was very good value for money ! The room was spacious, room supplies replenished on request and plenty of parking space which is also included in the room price - nice touch!

Solid wood bedsit cabinets and writing table in the room -- such a pleasant change from cheap laminated chipboard! Good quality fittings in he bathroom, a surprise at this price point. The dog-in-room kit was a nice touch (even tho we don't have a dog).

Wi-Fi is free. EE service was abysmal (a mast was down), so we relied on the hotel Wi-Fi, which worked fine throughout the hotel. Breakfast is great. The room was a good size, and it was clean and tidy. Unlimited tea & coffee. What's not to like? The staff were exceptional. They were happy and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble for them. They offered great recommendations for activities. The Eden Project is amazing. The local Chinese takeaway is tasty and plentiful.

Staff were very friendly and helpful and our room was a good size, very clean and fresh smelling on arrival. Breakfast was a particular highlight for my children! Only 15 mins or so into Fowey. Polkerris Beach is a must visit! We had lovely pizza from a pop-up truck a 5 min walk away (Mons only) and the Fishermans Arms in Golant was very enjoyable, but check the tide times for parking.

We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staffs and our room had been upgraded to an apartment, which was a wonderful surprise! We got what we need in the room with a spacious bunk bed which the children happily went to bed without any issue. We love the food in their restaurant, and the carvery night is amazing ! We look forward to coming back in the future.

This is my go to hotel when working in the area. The rooms are clean and the beds super comfortable. There is plenty of tea, coffee and even hot chocolate and biscuits. There is no air con but a fan is provided if the room is too warm. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially Jane, who has a great knowledge of the area and will happily give you advice and tips. As a lone traveler I always feel safe and welcome here. The evening meals are tasty and well cooked and the breakfast choice is good, cooked fresh to order. The outdoor pool is a nice surprise, the water is lovely and warm and pool towels are provided at reception.

Restaurant/places to eat in Best Western Fowey Valley

The family rooms are so well laid out. The hotel seems to have had bit of decoration since we last stayed as room 9 where we stayed was lovely and fresh looking. Great to have a good supply of tea, coffee, biscuits and hot chocolate. Room was a little warm but a good quality fan was provided. Glad we didn't stay when it was hotter though. Bunk beds and double bed were comfy and spacious and we had a bath which was lovely after a few days in a caravan
